On my old palm pilot, I was a big fan of smartlist2go. they don't have it for Blackberry (yet).
On smartlist, I was able to build a collection of databases that would allow me to input a shoot location, determine distance from my house, etc.
One of the great things was to be able to input shoot information at a location from equipment used, model used, weather, and even where I have the pictures from the shoot.
I could go back to the same location and input a 2nd shoot entry.
to make life really interesting, I could go into another list, select a particular lens or camera and have it populate a list with each shoot I had done with that lens or camera or combination of lens/camera.
I like the way skysoft looks and feels but I really need them to enhance the product so that I can get rid of smartlist.
When the functionality exists, I'll put the database collection here to share.
